So now that I’ve decided to actually take the little step and post again, it turns out to be just that – a little step – NOT crawling up the mountain under a load of regret that I let my blog site lie fallow for a season. It’s as simple as here we are again! So far so good - and I can delete the 1,303 spam comments that have sprouted up in the blog field in my spare time.
There’s a name for this; a Japanese concept about approaching the big things by taking almost imperceptibly small steps. So small they barely seem like an effort.
Does anyone know the name of this concept/principle?
I believe there are books on it and I'd like to read one.
I think you mean Kaizen...?
As Japanese concepts go, I am more attuned to the Wabi-Sabi aesthetic: finding beauty in the imperfections, impermanence, the natural decay. xoxox
Yes! That's the word. And I love the imperfections and somehow always start out striving for the flawless.
you are flawless, miz jones
