My mother and I were talking about life and death
and what we are and
what happens and
what do we believe.
She said, "I'd like to believe in SOMEthing!"
I felt an expanse at my back and an understanding that the intelligence behind the complexity of Life is so broad it can probably accommodate any belief system we throw at it.
I think often of where my husband 'went' when he died. I don't have a formal Dogma to tell me how to think about mortality and I'm OK with that. What I do know is if humans didn't regenerate in some way we would be the only life form not to do so.
